23 More of a Goal Than a New Year’s Resolution

Pen Friend by nkzsMy goal this past year was to write a book. After a very spectacular fail in June, I managed to write most of one in November and win NaNoWriMo. I have to say, it felt really good to get those 50,000 words under my belt. My secondary goal was to finish the story…which I did not do. I’m about two-thirds the way through it and then hit a dead-end. And you know what happens when you hit a dead-end.

So, after taking off most of December from writing, I am re-dedicating myself to finishing the story I began over a month ago. While I am not into creating New Year’s Resolutions—I prefer making goals instead— this year I will finish my novel begun in November 2012 and edit it.

So what are your goals for 2013?
